Teaching Personnel is recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic SEN Teacher for a specialist provision in Yeovil that supports children and young people with a wide range of additional learning needs.

What You'll Be Doing
* Plan and deliver creative, differentiated learning programmes
* Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning profiles
* Develop positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
* Track progress through effective assessment and record keeping
* Contribute to EHCP targets and review meetings
* Support emotional wellbeing alongside academic development
* Lead, guide and collaborate with classroom support staff
* Champion inclusion and personalised learning opportunities
* Participate in enrichment activities, educational visits and whole-school events
* Maintain high expectations whilst recognising individual strengths and achievements
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from experienced SEND professionals and ECTs seeking specialist education experience.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Previous experience supporting learners with additional needs
* Strong understanding of adaptive teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A collaborative and solution-focused approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
Experience within specialist environments supporting learners with severe or profound learning difficulties would be beneficial but is not essential.
