The Moredun Research Institute (MRI) (https://moredun.org.uk/research/about-moredun-research-institute) is seeking to appoint a Trustee/Chair of its Board of Directors (from September 2026)
Trustee/Chair of the Board of MRI (from September 2026) – Experience and expertise in corporate governance and business management, including end user representation for the agricultural, research, scientific and policy communities
Experience required
This appointment will initially be for a period of 3 years with the possibility of re-appointment up to a max of 3 terms (9 years). As Chair of the Board, the successful applicant will also be appointed to the Chairs’ Executive Committee and as a Trustee to the Moredun Foundation. Both Boards and the Executive Committee normally meet 4 times a year and in addition members may be asked to attend extraordinary meeting and strategic planning meetings, but these are not expected to be more than 2 days a year.
