Im working with a leading company based in the local area who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable / Payroll Clerk to join their established finance department. About the Job Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Finance department and wider business through accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, and fortnightly payroll. Key Responsibilities Processing supplier invoices, matching to goods receipts, and posting to ERP system Uploading purchase documents to the document management system Performing supplier statement reconciliations Preparing bi-monthly supplier payment runs Liaising with suppliers and purchasing department to resolve invoice queries Providing transaction history information to managers as required Reconciling company credit card transactions Processing staff expenses Processing fortnightly payroll Sending weekly timesheets to agencies Posting payroll journals to ERP system Preparing holiday and payroll accruals Managing payments of summary deductions to relevant authorities Undertaking other duties as required to support the finance function Previous Experience Previous experience in an accounts payable role Experience payroll admin (though not essential) Strong IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel Proven ability to manage own workload and meet strict deadlines Experience using ERP and payroll systems Desirable Previous experience using Dynamics NAV / 365 and Sage Payroll For further information on this opportunity or if youre considering your next career move, get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.
