Job Vacancy:= Teaching Assistant (SEN Support)

Contract: Full-time | Term-time only - Permanent

Salary: £90 - £105 per day
Teaching Personnel is working with a school based on the East side of Birmingham in the Stechford area, who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their team on a long term basis, with an immediate start. The school has recently been rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted, and is one the most improved schools in the city with a great reputation.The school is a mainstram school but is looking for someone to join their SEN department, and support some of theur more vulnerable learners; inlcuding those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health.
Responsibilties:
Provide tailored, consistent support to a specific student based on their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) or individual needs
Help them access learning across the curriculum by adapting tasks and instructions.
Implement strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviour and promote positive choices
Support the development of emotional regulation and coping skill
Build trusting relationships to help the student feel safe and understood.
Encourage the development of self-esteem, confidence, and social skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
