Aircraft OR Aerospace Planner The Opportunity: The Planner is responsible for scheduling all maintenance works on AIRCRAFT within this busy facility. It would suit either a hands on Aircraft Engineer who prefers office admin and planning, OR somebody with perhaps a degree in Aerospace, Aviation or even Mechanical Engineering, interested in a planning and scheduling role. Please note that this is a shift based role, working 7am to 7pm, on a 5/5/4 day rota (usually 2 weekends on, then 2 weekends off, but you will get 5 days off in a row in amongst the rota). The Role: Organise maintenance 'jobs' involving all aspects of planning from start to finish: making sure parts and equipment are available to the engineers, planning the jobs in from the customers, scheduling timescales, workforce planning. Organise and prioritise the incoming requests for quotes and proposals. Liaise with customers and potential customers when required. Manage the maintenance plan and slot allocation. Liaise with the Finance Executive for Quoting and budgetary requirements with involvement in raising quotes and estimates for customers.
