ABOUT THE LAUNDRY ASSISTANT ROLE
The Willows care home will focus on supporting 23 males, and our goal is to create a safe, enriching environment where every resident feels valued and supported.
As a Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for washing and returning garments with precision, following every care detail. Keeping supplies stocked, ensuring we never run out. Maintain a spotless, organized laundry room and more
Responsibilities
* Launder clothes, towels, and bed linens, and return to their owner paying special attention to the washing instructions per garment
* Advise operations manager when supplies are running low, ensuring they never run out completely
* Ensure the laundry room is kept in a clean, organised manor
* Following relevant procedures when dealing with soiled and/or infectious linen
To be successful for the Laundry Assistant position you will demonstrate
* Previous experience working in a similar position
* The ability to establish effective, professional and positive working relationships with colleagues
* Good personal presentation and conduct
* Willingness to participate in the companies training needs
