The Digital Content Creator will play a key role in elevating Riviera’s multimedia storytelling, delivering high quality video and image content that enhances brand awareness, engagement and conversion across all channels. Creating high quality video and image content that enhances brand awareness, engagement and conversion across all marketing channels.

This role blends creative strategy with hands‑on production: shaping our video approach, capturing and editing assets, and maintaining an organised, searchable content catalogue to support the wider Marketing team.

As part of the Content Studio, you’ll collaborate closely with Designers, Writers, Product, CRM, Paid Media, and Social Media teams to ensure Riviera's content is visually inspiring, consistent and customer first.‑


Key Responsibilities

* Develop Riviera’s video and photography strategy across marketing channels including web, email, YouTube and paid media.
* Conduct a content audit to capture gaps and opportunities for owned content.
* Work with the Marketing and Channel teams to ensure content trips are planned collaboratively and communicated in advance.
* ‑Work with the Lead Designer to ensure all video aligns with brand visual identity and design principles.
* Storyboard, script and plan both short‑form and long‑form video concepts – shaping narrative flow, outlining key scenes, defining visual style and preparing shot lists. This includes collaborating with stakeholders, planning on‑location requirements, and ensuring each concept is optimised for its intended platform and audience.


Content Capture & Creation

* Capture high‑quality video and photography both in‑house and on location (UK/overseas content trips where required).
* Confidently handle, maintain and troubleshoot professional camera equipment, lenses and supporting hardware (lighting, audio, stabilisation etc.).
* Capture supplementary b‑roll and supporting footage for Designers, Social Media, CRM and Paid channels.
* Edit, grade, subtitle and video content for platform‑specific formats
* Edit, retouch and prepare imagery for use across marketing assets.
* Collaborate with the Design Studio to develop motion graphics, simple animations, transitions and reusable templates.
* Create and own a full catalogue of Riviera’s owned content – imagery, footage and editable source files to identify gaps and make content easier for Designers and wider Marketing team to find.
* Implement consistent naming conventions, tagging, metadata and structure.
* Work with the Content Executives to ensure all new assets are filed, labelled and rights checked.‑
* Conduct regular content audits to identify required shoots, missing formats, or duplication.
* Support the Senior Content Manager with planning and briefing photography and video shoots.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and propose appropriate creative solutions.
* Work with Marketing and the wider business to deliver channel ready assets on deadline.‑
* Repurpose existing content to maximise efficiency across marketing channels.
* Work with the Senior Content Manager and Content Executives to book trips and manage logistics and budget as needed.
* Support and train other team members as needed.


Quality, Consistency & Best Practice

* Ensure all outputs meet brand, tone, quality and accessibility standards.
* Stay up to date on digital and social video trends, proposing new formats or creative approaches.
* Maintain a joined up view of content across campaigns, ensuring alignment with Design, Copywriting and Web teams.‑
* Uphold strong version control and file management practices across the Content Studio.


Skills, Experience & Qualifications

* Proven experience creating professional‑level content of photography and video, for marketing or social channels.
* Confident handling professional camera systems, lenses, gimbals, lighting and audio equipment.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop, with the ability to create polished, platform‑ready content and maintain consistent brand application across all outputs.
* Ability to tell compelling visual stories with limited direction.
* Highly organised, with excellent file management and tagging discipline.
* Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for visual quality and brand consistency.
* Experience in travel, lifestyle, hospitality or similar sectors.
* Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and paid social formats.
* Drone operation skills and understanding of motion graphics.
* Ability to create simple animated assets (e.g., lower thirds, titles, transitions).
* Familiarity with DAM style systems.‑


Ways of Working

* Embedded in the Content Studio, working closely with Designers, Copywriters and Content Execs.
* Collaboration with Lead Designer for design alignment and art direction.
* Works proactively with the Senior Content Manager to identify upcoming content needs, resourcing requirements and opportunities to innovate.

We operate a hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in the office.
