We are seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to take ownership of the post-completion service across a portfolio of commercial new build and refurbishment projects, valued between £3million - £35million on average. This is a client-facing role, focused on managing and resolving defects for a 12-month period after Practical Completion. The Role Based out of our Sheffield office, you will act as the main point of contact for clients, providing a professional and approachable service on a daily basis. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors and internal teams to ensure defects are resolved quickly and to the highest standard, while maintaining strong client relationships. The position involves regular travel to sites across Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the resolution of defects during the 12-month post-completion period Act as the primary client-facing representative, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships Coordinate subcontractors and internal teams to deliver timely and effective remedial works Track, monitor, and report on all defects to ensure accountability and performance Maintain a professional and approachable manner, upholding high standards of service and customer care About You We're looking for someone with a strong presence and confidence to lead, but also approachable and personable to build trust with clients. You will ideally come from a similar background in construction, fit-out, or refurbishment, with experience in finishing, aftercare, or defects management.
