Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineering) Junior -Intermediate
CSR are looking for a junior - intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a Major UK & Ireland Contractor to join their Civils Engineering Division to be based from their office in Woking.
The Company has an impressive portfolio of projects including road construction & bulk excavation works.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following:
* Preparation and submission of tender documents.
* Assist with detailed breakdown of build costs for each stage of work.
* Assist with the subcontract & plant procurement/payment.
* Measurement and valuation of works both on site and from drawings for variations and final accounts.
* liaise with project team on variations to project.
* Keep record of weekly/ monthly sub-contract valuation.
* Meet clients and attend site meetings to review and discuss work carried out.
* Preparation and submission of interim valuation reports.
* Cost value reporting
Requirements
* Third Level degree in a relevant discipline.
* A competitive salary will be on offer for the successful applicant.
* Minimum 2 years' experience Quantity Surveying Experience to include placement year.
