PE Teacher

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and motivated PE Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Hertfordshire from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and energetic department that is passionate about promoting physical education, teamwork, and student wellbeing. The school has a strong sporting ethos and encourages participation and achievement at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
2. Inspire students to develop a lifelong interest in physical activity and sport
3. Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
4. Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programme
5. Support whole-school initiatives around health and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. A degree in Physical Education or a related subject
8. Experience teaching PE in a secondary setting
9. Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
10. The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
