* £100,000-£120,000 Basic salary DOE

Mercury Hampton Ltd has been exclusively retained with this well-established commercial infrastructure company with an outstanding reputation across the market. They are now looking to grow the company massively both through acquisition and organic growth, they have the investment and desire to achieve this. They are looking to modernise and commercialise this amazing company.



We are searching for a dynamic sales director who is going to take the company to the next level. This client provides complex turnkey solutions for the telecommunications, utilities & infrastructure sector. This role is perfect for someone driven, dynamic and established in the utilities, infrastructure or telecommunications market. They are looking for a modern, polished commercial leader who can drive sales within the large corporate Utilities and infrastructure sectors. You will be experienced in penetrating and managing these large complex customers in the Electric, Gas, Water, Communications markets.



For example: Thames Water, BT, Costain, United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, National Grid, Power Grid, Balfour Beatty, Volker Group, WHP Telecoms, Kier.



The strategic aspect of this position includes internal team growth and development as well as input on strategic acquisition opportunities.

Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of account managers and regional sales managers.
* Strategic Hiring: Involvement in the hiring process within the sales team as the company continues growing and developing. You will be involved in hiring a bid manager and marketing manager to support your growth plans.
* Client Management: Maintain and strengthen relationship with tier 1 utilities providers as well as identifying opportunities for business development and growth.
* Revenue Growth: Drive initiatives to build new relationships and increase revenue stream for the organisation through large framework agreements and one-off deals. You will lead and drive sales in the corporate utilities and infrastructure markets, leveraging your contacts and knowledge of winning big ticket sales within these large customers.
* Strategic input: Collaborate with senior leadership and provide insights that will shape the direction of the business and acquisition strategies.



Qualifications & Experience:

* Commercial Expert: Proven experience in B2B Sales and company growth.
* Educational Background: Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
* Relationship Management: Experience in relationship management into telecoms, infrastructure, utility, civil engineering sectors and industries.
* Attitude: Humility, Teamwork, Driven, Dynamic – My client will train and develop the right candidate with the right behaviours.
