Overview
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with an organisation in the Middlesbrough Area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant. They are looking for someone who has strong experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar with a good understanding of legislation and process.
This is a busy payroll department with a high volume payroll across multiple business entities.
Key Objectives
* To process all monthly payroll information including starters, leavers, amendments
* Salary sacrifice schemes and payments and deductions
* Process,monitor and check the accuracy of the monthly payroll ensuring that any errors are rectified efficiently
* Post the monthly payroll to the accounting ledger and perform a reconciliation of the actual monthly payroll
* SMP, SSP, OMP
* End of Year Certificate process
* LGPS return
* Queries relating to pensions auto enrolment administration
Essential Requirements
* Experience In Payroll administration
* Manipulation of data - excel
* Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
* Organised and strong attention to detail
* Up to date legislation knowledge
* Deliver payroll, pensions and benefits
* Good general systems knowledge
