We are a long-established, family-run restaurant in the heart of Brighton and are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
We'd really like to hear from you if you share our passion for using fresh ingredients, and preparing authentic dishes from scratch, including fish and seafood which we buy in daily.
You will be required to have at least 1 year of experience and a background in Italian cooking would be a bonus. Training is provided and so this is not essential, though you should have a keen interest in Italian cuisine.
You must be hardworking, punctual and have experience of working in a fast-paced and busy environment. You will also be required to fully support a small team of chefs and kitchen assistants.
Working closely with your team, you’ll ensure Health/Food Safety practises are followed and daily records are maintained and kept up-to-date.
Aside from offering a great hourly rate you'll receive a share of service charge every month, free meals on shift and discounted food and drinks when you dine with friends and family.
To ensure a good work-life balance, there's also flexibility to work set shifts if this is preferred.
Please note that only UK-based applicants living in Brighton or the surrounding areas will be considered.
