Are you experienced in working with young people (aged 11-18) and have a passion for mental health and wellbeing? Would you like to work for Dorset Mind and make a positive difference in young people's lives?
We are looking for someone based in West Dorset or the surrounding area who can demonstrate the skills and knowledge to coordinate and run our CYP Community Active Monitoring Programme for young people.
The successful candidate will work with children and young people aged 11 to 18, delivering a range of prevention and early intervention activities focused on mental health and wellbeing. The role is community-based in West Dorset and involves managing a caseload of young people in 1:1 guided self-help settings, both face-to-face and online. You will work with and in schools and family hubs, liaising with local statutory services.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. A full driving license and use of a car are essential, as you will be travelling to and from West Dorset at least twice a week.
