This is a senior role within a flagship branding agency, which is part of a multi-award-winning global advertising agency network.
The agency has enjoyed another successful year and continues to grow. They are looking to expand their world-class team, and this is where you come in!
Your role will involve leading strategy for a flagship corporate account — one of the biggest companies by revenue in the world. Additionally, you will spend approximately half of your time working on other major international corporate clients and supporting pitches.
Deep experience in complex brand architecture for a global company is essential!
Responsibilities:
* This is a senior position, requiring you to both oversee and actively contribute to projects. You will provide senior strategic oversight while also taking responsibility for delivery.
* Be a true strategic leader, challenging existing practices and driving positive change to produce top-tier strategy work and enhance collaboration across strategy, creative, and client services.
* Participate as a regular pitch team member in new business opportunities, using your experience to deliver hypothesis-led strategic thinking within tight timeframes, while managing team planning, cohesion, and morale.
* Identify revenue opportunities within existing clients and through new methodologies, proactively developing plans to deepen client relationships and explore new products or practice areas within the strategy team.
* Bring innovative thinking, build a profile as a thought leader, and stimulate engaging conversations internally and externally to enhance reputation.
* Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic agency environment that values inclusion, collaboration, and positive disruption.
You:
* At this level, you will confidently lead a full range of strategy projects, including brand analysis, architecture, naming, purpose, and positioning.
* This role requires deep expertise in corporate strategy and brand architecture, including architectural strategy, navigation frameworks, and organizing principles.
* As a senior leader, you should understand the commercial aspects of agency performance, including driving efficiency and profitability through scoping, cost proposals, margins, and utilization.
* You must be an effective communicator, capable of managing relationships upward and downward, comfortable presenting to clients, writing, facilitating workshops, critiquing work, and providing feedback.
* As a manager with direct reports, you will support and mentor team members, fostering their development through hands-on support.
