We seek a Private Secretary to support the Chair and CEO within a small, high-performing Private Office team. The role involves translating strategic priorities into actionable tasks, managing relationships with stakeholders, and supporting high-level decision making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead a defined portfolio within the Private Office, acting as the main interface for the Chair and CEO.
2. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of strategic objectives.
3. Build and maintain effective relationships across government and the energy sector.
4. Support the organisation’s high performance by establishing processes and best practices.
5. Travel frequently to London; expected in the office on average 60% of the week.
6. Work outside regular hours as required, with a non-contractual allowance.

Benefits
Salary of £47,895 plus a non-contractual Private Office allowance, civil service pension contributions, 30 days annual leave after 2 years, training opportunities, hybrid working, flexible hours, and family-friendly policies. The role contributes to Ofgem’s goal of a Net Zero energy system by 2050.
