Package Description

Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Rhoose (CF62)

Pay Rate: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour

Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Patterns:

7:30am – 8:00pm

9:30am – 10:00pm

8:00pm – 7:30am

Important Information:

We are actively seeking experienced Male Support Workers to meet the specific care needs and preferences of the people we support. This is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 and is essential to providing the best care.

Please note: If you are applying from Cardiff, we will only be interviewing candidates who can provide their own transport, as public transport from Cardiff to Rhoose is unreliable.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to the nature of support provided.

What You’ll Do as a Support Worker:

Provide experienced, person-centred support based on individual routines and needs

Encourage and promote independence in daily activities

Support personal development through hobbies and community involvement

Assist with health needs, including medical appointments and medication administration

Teach essential life skills such as budgeting, shopping, and managing bills

Help with household tasks like cooking and cleaning

Deliver personal care where necessary

Provide consistent emotional and physical support
