Job Overview: We’re recruiting experienced Domiciliary Care Assistants in Leicester (LE3 and LE5) to provide person-centred care in people’s own homes. The role includes personal care, light domestic support, and companionship, all aimed at making daily life safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable. What You’ll Do
* Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
* Support with meals, hydration, and mobility in line with care plans.
* Medication prompting/administration (where trained).
* Offering companionship and emotional support.
* Carry out moving and handling tasks safely, using equipment where required.
* Follow individual care plans to ensure tailored support for each service user’s needs.
Essential Requirements
* Must be based in Leicester.
* Be over 18 and have the legal right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship).
* Have proven experience in domiciliary care (minimum 6 months preferred).
* Hold up-to-date mandatory training certificates (or be willing to refresh them).
* Communicate confidently in English, both verbal and written.
* Use basic IT skills to assist with record-keeping.
* Hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle (essential).
* Hold a current DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
* Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
