An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled individual to join our team at Campbeltown Hospital as a Band 6 Specialist Dialysis Nurse. The hospital features a two-station dialysis unit operating three days per week, linked with the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Renal service, with patient care overseen by GGC consultants.
The specialist nurse will be responsible for the overall management of the dialysis unit, undertaking both clinical and managerial duties as a senior team member. They will ensure high standards of care are maintained and may assist in staff and student training and education.
Strong values-driven practice and highly developed interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. An excellent knowledge of haemodialysis and significant experience in a renal dialysis unit are required.
