About the Role
An Outstanding girls school in Enfield is seeking a committed Food Technology Teacher to join their design and technology department from September. You will deliver high-quality food technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology Teacher lessons, covering culinary techniques and food preparation.
* Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
* Develop students' understanding of food science, nutrition, and safety.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the food technology curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead food-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Food Technology.
* Proven experience in teaching food technology at secondary level.
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food science.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
