Warehouse Team Member with ad hoc driving duties As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for inspecting and accepting items as they enter the Milton Keynes Warehouse and ensuring that all stock is prepared to the highest standard before it is transported to wed2b stores. The role of Warehouse Team Member is key to ensuring that all wed2b goods are received, handled, and despatched in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. You will also perform ad-hoc tasks as a driver including the delivery of goods to stores and loading inventory onto the van. Who are wed2b? A day at wed2b: Assisting with the safe unloading and storage of goods as they enter the warehouse while maintaining the integrity of the stock. Preparing goods for sale, selecting orders ready for distribution and processing web based ‘Ecom’ orders using our ‘pick and pack’ procedure. Making efficient and safe use of space and mechanical handling equipment while continuously upholding high standards of Health and Safety. Reaching the goals and professional standards outlined by Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers. Ad hoc driving responsibilities to wed2b’s UK and Ireland locations, that guarantees complete adherence to the Company’s professional driver policy and procedure. The ideal candidate will have: Ample knowledge and practical experience working in a warehouse. A proven capacity for setting priorities and achieving goals. Good general physical fitness, as the position requires frequent, repetitive light, medium, and heavy lifting. Multidrop experience driving a 3.5T Luton Box Van and possess a full, clean UK driving licence. A broad knowledge and general awareness of Health and Safety requirements for a warehouse setting.
