Registered Manager – Children’s Residential (Learning Disabilities)

£40,000 – £45,000 per annum based on experience

We specialise in supporting children with learning disabilities, drawing on our neuro‑affirming model of care to create environments where individuality, autonomy, and inclusion are central. Our two solo placement homes offer homely, nurturing settings with a therapeutic foundation where each child is supported to grow, learn, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership, recruitment, supervision, and development of residential care staff
* Ensuring compliance with Social Care Wales / CIW regulations and safeguarding requirements
* Developing, overseeing, and reviewing person‑centred care plans tailored for children with learning disabilities
* Fostering a safe, structured, warm, and consistent home environment
* Working closely with external agencies (education, health, therapists) and families
* Monitoring budgets, quality assurance, inspections, reports
Desired Qualifications and Experience
* Diploma Level 5 (or equivalent) in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People’s Residential Management)
* Strong commitment to neuro‑affirming care and inclusive, person‑centred approaches
* Excellent leadership, communication, organisational skills
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, CIW / regulatory framework
* Eligibility to register as a Registered Manager with Social Care Wales
