Overview
We are recruiting an Immunisation Administrative School Support to assist our Immunisation and Vaccination Team in delivering the Flu Vaccination programme in schools and community settings. The role supports nurse‑led immunisation sessions, handles administrative duties, and provides essential coordination.
Responsibilities
* Support nurse‑led immunisation sessions in primary schools and community settings.
* Handle telephone calls from parents/carers and communicate with schools.
* Assist team members in collecting and transporting vaccines and equipment.
* Follow safety measures and complete risk assessments as required.
Requirements
* Experience working in administration with strong general administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic, committed, and team‑player attitudes.
* Positive can‑do attitude, flexibility, and ability to engage with people.
* Accuracy, attention to detail, and respect for people using and working for the organisation.
* Good driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to schools within the region.
Experience
* Previous experience delivering nasal flu to school‑aged children (desirable).
* Experience with school immunisation programmes or related healthcare delivery.
* Track record of meeting tight deadlines and working independently.
Qualifications
* Working knowledge of NHS protocols and policies related to immunisation services.
