To further improve our process and customer experience, we are currently seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to join our team.
As an AV Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of best-in-class audiovisual systems to our nationwide network of customers. Reporting to the Audiovisual Operations Manager, you will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
This role will primarily focus on new build or major refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV technologies, a proven track record in AV Project Management, and a passion for delivering innovative AV solutions. This role requires close collaboration with our Engineering, Support, and Design teams and third-party stakeholders to support our delivery of top-tier solutions. You will need to be hands-on and driven to ensure the show goes on for important life events!

Key Responsibilities
1. Attend handover meetings from our Commercial team and take ownership of assigned projects.
2. Work closely with clients, main contractors, and consultants to agree on project timelines and milestones.
3. Coordinate with Engineering Management to ensure resource availability.
4. Collaborate with stock and Procurement teams to ensure timely purchase of materials, avoiding excess stock.
5. Manage dependencies and progress of assigned projects.
6. Attend site for kick-off meetings and regular progress inspections.
7. Ensure quality of handover, training, and O&M documentation.
8. Support installation teams, resolve issues, and motivate staff.
9. Track project costs, variations, and changes.
10. Own financial performance, quality, and client relationships.
11. Report project progress to the business.
Required Experience
* Proven Project Manager with strong AV experience.
* Knowledge of AV equipment such as Digital Video, Projection, Control Systems, DSPs, Audio, Large Format Displays, DMX Lighting, and BMS integration.
* Familiarity with AV standards like AVIXA (InfoComm) and certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I) is a plus.
* Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Visio, etc.) is advantageous.
* Formal project management training (PRINCE2, Six Sigma).
* Salesforce experience is beneficial.
* Strong communication skills and ability to manage budgets and project challenges.
* Excellent presentation, problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving license.
* A sense of humor and an opinion on whether a hotdog is a sandwich (the correct answer is important!).
Location
Minimum 1 day per week in our Sheffield office (S4 7UQ). Flexible working on other days.
