Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Duties
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
* Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain stock levels.
* Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food presentation.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and customers.
