ExpoPlan.io is looking for a freelance, commission-based Business Development Manager / Salesperson to supercharge our customer acquisition and help us scale in our very early stages. This is a unique chance to join a fast-growing SaaS startup at ground level, with a clear path to a full-time salaried position as we grow.
About Us:
ExpoPlan.io is a newly launched, centralised all-in-one SaaS platform built specifically for trade show and event project management. We help exhibitors, agencies, and vendors replace spreadsheets, emails, and multiple apps with one streamlined cloud-based solution.
What You’ll Do:
* Identify, prospect, and engage new B2B clients (exhibitors, agencies, booth builders, event vendors) on a global scale
* Own the full sales cycle: outreach, demos, negotiation, and closing deals
* Develop and execute creative strategies to drive user adoption and paid conversions
* Build relationships with key industry players and nurture long-term partnerships
* Represent ExpoPlan.io at virtual and in-person events (as needed)
* Provide feedback to help shape our go-to-market strategy
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven B2B sales or business development experience (SaaS, event tech, or related industries preferred)
* Self-starter mentality – comfortable working independently and remotely
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience with direct outreach (email, LinkedIn), demos, and closing deals
* Passion for event technology and helping clients solve real problems
* Bonus: Existing network in the events/trade show industry
