About the role
In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse operations. Your work will focus on accurately receiving, assembling, and preparing customer orders, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will operate warehouse systems, handle stock with care, and ensure that customer schedules are met in line with depot KPIs and agreed performance standards. Attention to detail and a commitment to health, safety, and hygiene practices will be essential in delivering excellent service.
You will be responsible for
* Receiving, picking, assembling, loading, and transhipping orders in line with customer requirements and performance targets.
* Handling customer stock with care to minimise damages and ensure accuracy.
* Operating customer-specific Warehouse Management Systems efficiently.
* Completing all operational documentation accurately and within set timeframes.
* Working in compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and environmental procedures, while meeting pre-determined customer schedules.
About you
You will be a reliable and safety-conscious individual with the ability to read, understand and follow work instructions and procedures. With strong attention to detail, you are able to work accurately under pressure, meeting deadlines and targets without compromising quality. You will bring a proactive approach to your work, along with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. While MHE licences such as reach and counterbalance forklift are desirable, they are not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
