About the Job:
Coronary Care is a 10 bedded mixed sex ward, incorporating all telemetry beds. It is a busy, vibrant environment and we are looking for conscientious, motivated, committed, positive nurses to join our fabulous team. We are passionate about Cardiology, experience is desired but not essential as full training will be given.
Join us here and you will have the opportunity to develop or refresh skills in nursing acute and chronic cardiac conditions in an exciting and advancing speciality. Although we specialise in cardiology our patients can also have numerous other medical conditions so you will have the opportunity to manage patients with multiple co-morbidities.
We work together with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care at a local level and have strong links with the northwest cardiac tertiary centres. As a team we are committed to dealing with current and emerging cardiology and general issues in a proactive manner which provides a safe, professional and enriching environment for all.
When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide clinically excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and other MDT members. As a registered nurse you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient centred care in a supported environment.
