Get ready to:
* Design and deploy advanced LLM-powered applications that support our Payroll product lines and operations.
* Lead architecture decisions, cost optimization, and observability efforts for mission-critical AI workflows.
* Collaborate with ML researchers, product managers, and application engineers.
* Create massive impact by doing ground breaking work in an already high-scale product.
You’ll bring:
* 12+ years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on system design
* At least 1.5 years building production-grade LLM applications
* Python expertise for AI/ML development
* Node.js familiarity for integration with application teams
* Deep experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
* Prompt engineering, LLM API integration, and system reliability patterns
* Observability tooling for AI systems
* Hands-on experience (2+ years) in implementing research and algorithms in Python, specifically in information retrieval, text processing, NLP, LLMs, and machine learning
Bonus if you have:
* RAG implementations, agentic workflows, LangChain/CrewAI
* Cost tracking and optimization for AI/LLM infra
* Pre-LLM ML/deep learning experience
* Multimodal system exposure
