About the Team and the Role
Warwickshire Legal Services is growing, and we are looking to recruit both newly qualified and experienced solicitors for our Adult Social Care legal team.
At Warwickshire Legal Services, we run a very different kind of in-house legal team. We have the freedom to practice as a business within Warwickshire County Council, generating our own income from internal teams and a diverse pool of external public sector clients.
We are an award-winning legal team with over 140 legal professionals. Our team is currently made up from lawyers from the public sector, private sector and home-grown talent and we would welcome applicants from a range of legal backgrounds.
We were early pioneers of agile working which provides our lawyers with the opportunity to work within the office environment and remotely. Our positions are full time at 37 hours per week, but we are also open to part-time working.
Our approach gives you a unique environment to further your career working with a talented, friendly, and supportive group of innovative legal professionals. Our clients are diverse, and the work is stimulating and varied with the opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a meaningful difference.
Warwickshire has an ambitious agenda which focuses on developing a thriving economy; ensuring people can live safely, healthily, and happily; and creating a county with a sustainable future. Together these priorities support the Council’s ambition to make Warwickshire the best it can be.
At Warwickshire Legal Services we know we must continuously improve and adapt to make our direction a reality, and it is our teams of dedicated people who will make this happen.
In short, we are an ambitious, nationally recognised team that wants to deliver consistently outstanding legal work. If you are someone who is prepared to get stuck in, who wants to do the best job possible, who approaches everything with passion and purpose, then we would welcome your application.
