Role Overview
The Head of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership across the business, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and reporting. This role combines high-level financial strategy with hands-on oversight of financial operations, supporting informed decision-making and long-term business growth.
The role requires a commercially focused, proactive finance leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the executive team and board.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the finance function, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and treasury.

Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, financial statements, and board reports.

Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
*
Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and profitability, identifying opportunities and risks.
*
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and internal controls.
*
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing scenario analysis and business insights.

Support mergers, acquisitions, and investment initiatives from a financial perspective.

Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiency, process improvement, and financial accountability.

Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing culture.
Skills and Experience
*
ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, or equivalent.
*
Extensive experience in a senior finance role, ideally as a Finance Director or Head of Finance.
*
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership.
*
Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
*
Experience managing a finance team and leading organizational change.
*
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex financial information clearly.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*
Proficient in finance systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
