A well‑established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Company Secretary to join its Business Law team. The firm is known for delivering discreet, tailored advice and for maintaining long‑standing relationships with private individuals, family businesses, charities, and trustees.
This role offers the opportunity to act as the sole provider of company secretarial services across a broad portfolio of entities, supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing company secretarial compliance, including Companies House filings, Confirmation Statements, and dormant accounts
2. Maintaining statutory registers and company records
3. Drafting board minutes and resolutions
4. Administering share allotments, transfers, and dividend documentation
5. Incorporating companies and managing registered office arrangements
6. Handling registered office correspondence and maintaining electronic company secretarial systems
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar company secretarial role, with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. They will be a confident communicator, capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
