Job Title: Secondary Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide academic support to secondary school students in various subjects
* Develop lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to individual student needs
* Assess student learning progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching secondary school students
* Strong subject knowledge in the relevant academic areas
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:
Work in a secondary school environment, part-time hours, may require some evening or weekend work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
