What you’ll do:
* Lead and manage bids and tender submissions for the Transport business, reporting to the Business Development Director.
* Manage a Bid Team based in Warwick and London, planning resources to pursue opportunities effectively.
* Ensure optimal utilization of resources across the business to maximize bid success.
* Oversee the end-to-end management and production of high-quality, timely bids in accordance with Telent’s procedures.
* Continuously improve bid quality through best practice approaches.
* Monitor bid costs and seek improvements in bid return on investment.
* Develop relationships with existing and potential customers through meetings and presentations.
* Manage Bid Team performance, KPIs, and SLAs.
* Coordinate bid strategies from Go/No Go decisions through to submission and post-bid review, including proposal preparation.
* Plan workload, forecast bids, and track costs and win/loss rates.
* Conduct bid reviews and recommend improvements.
* Maintain and update the Bid library (wiki).
