We support clients across the full project lifecycle, from cable termination and testing to operations and maintenance. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Storesperson to join our team in North Shields.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
* Stores & Inventory Management
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
* Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels, asset registers, and calibration schedules.
* Carry out regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations.
* Equipment & Asset Control
* Issue, track, and return equipment and consumables for projects.
* Ensure tools and equipment are clean, serviceable, and maintained in accordance with manufacturers' and company requirements.
* Manage logistics for mobilisation and demobilisation of project equipment.
* Compliance & Documentation
* Ensure compliance with Ventus Energy's ISO-accredited management systems (ISO 9001, 14001,
* Maintain records of lifting gear inspections, PPE issue, and test equipment calibration.
* Support HSEQ processes and audits.
* Logistics & Coordination
* Arrange transport and shipping of goods, liaising with couriers and freight companies.
* Support offshore project teams with stores requests, ensuring timely delivery.
* Assist with project mobilisation planning and coordination.

Required Criteria
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail
* Knowledge of stock control systems, asset registers, and inventory software
* Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
* Basic IT skills (MS Office, inventory software)
* Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role (engineering or energy sector experience desirable)
