Support Worker - Watford SENDhelp are currently recruiting a Support Worker in the Watford area to support one of our clients, a 10-year-old boy with complex needs and challenging behaviour. This is a rewarding but physically and emotionally demanding Support Worker role, ideal for someone confident, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with SEND. This Support Worker position is based in Watford, supporting the child in his family home where he lives with his mum and dad. We are looking for Support Workers who can commit to regular shift-based work in Watford, either part-time or full-time. About the Child & Role The child you will be supporting has: SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) Learning difficulties Challenging and, at times, physically aggressive behaviour Epilepsy As a Support Worker, you will be supporting the child on a 1:1 basis within the home environment in Watford, helping to keep him safe, regulated, and supported during daily routines. While this is not an educational role, experience supporting children with complex needs is essential for any Support Worker applying. SENDhelp can provide epilepsy training and challenging behaviour training to the right Support Worker. What matters most is confidence and prior exposure to supporting individuals with epilepsy and aggressive or challenging behaviour. Shift Patterns & Hours This Support Worker role offers flexible, shift-based work in Watford : During term time: Weekdays: 3:00pm - 9:00pm Weekends: 10:00am - 7:00pm During school holidays: 10:00am - 7:00pm, 7 days per week Shifts are typically 6-7 hours We welcome part-time and full-time Support Workers Opportunity to take on multiple shifts each week This is an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker seeking consistent hours in Watford with flexibility around availability.
