Legal Executive/Solicitor – Family – Newport
TSR Legal are currently supporting a high street firm in Newport with a boutique feel who are looking to expand its well-regarded Family team. This is an excellent opportunity for either a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a growing team, working on high-quality, privately funded matters while benefiting from genuine support across the firm.
The team is known for handling complex and high-value work, and you will play a key role in managing a broad caseload covering divorce and financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, cohabitation and separation agreements, as well as pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
Alongside your caseload, you will contribute to the continued growth of the practice. This will include building strong client relationships, getting involved in business development and networking, and supporting junior members of the team. The firm places real value on collaboration, so you’ll be working closely with colleagues who are approachable, supportive, and committed to delivering excellent client service.
The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ post-qualification experience in private family law. You’ll be confident in managing your own files, communicating effectively with clients, and approaching your work with both professionalism and empathy. An interest in developing your profile and contributing to the wider success of the team will also be important.
