#Job Summary

It is expected that our Engineers will possess proven experience of dealing with electro-mechanical faults and preventative maintenance operations within a warehouse environment. Reporting to the Site Leadership structure, the Engineer will be eager though safety conscious, with a track record of owning problems and taking them through to successful completion.

#Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Mechanical strip-down/re-assembly, basic field wiring, machine calibration and system testing
2. Day to day maintenance of site MHE to a high standard
3. Accountable for managing time via CMMS to achieve over 90% utilisation
4. Look to continuously improve all aspects of new and old equipment, be health and safety conscience
5. Work against timeframes to complete reactive repairs
6. Interact with on-site management keeping them informed of repair and maintenance progression and address their concerns in a professional manner
7. Service and repair current installed products and demonstrate hands on ownership of issues to achieve a fast resolution
8. Able to interpret electrical circuit diagrams and work with upto 415V circuits
9. Appreciate Health & Safety considerations and be able to carry out risk assessments
10. Promote a strong safety culture and compliance to current H&S standards
11. Mechanical aptitude including the ability to read assembly drawings
12. Operate hand tools and be able to assemble parts onto equipment
13. Able to follow set up instructions, assembly drawings and check lists
14. Attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
15. Be willing to learn and adapt to changing role requirements
16. Appreciation of Cultural Diversity
17. Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders both internally and within the customer organisation

#Skills, qualifications and experience

20. NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline
21. Understanding of PLC’s and their function
22. Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge beneficial
23. Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills
24. Use of CMMS system and engineering stores
25. HNC/HND/NVQ level 5 equivalent is desirable
