Eden Scott is supporting a client seeking a reliable and efficient Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis from April 29th to May 3rd. This is an excellent opportunity for an immediately available candidate to gain experience in a dynamic work environment.
Job Description: As a Temporary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.
* Managing the reception area and ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
* Providing basic administrative support such as sorting and distributing mail.
* Assisting with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings.
* Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
* Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
Requirements:
* Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role is preferred but not required.
* Professional attitude and appearance with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
