Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Utility-Scale Solar PV Electrician based in Tipton. The role involves performing electrical work, maintenance, and repair on utility-scale solar photovoltaic systems. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing solar PV systems in compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. The role also requires efficient problem-solving, adherence to guidelines, and collaboration with team members to ensure the successful operation of solar PV projects.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Electricity and understanding of Electrical Work
* Experience in Maintenance & Repair, and troubleshooting electrical systems
* Knowledge of Electrical Engineering and ability to apply principles in practical settings
* Strong safety awareness and commitment to following industry standards
* Relevant certifications and qualifications in electrical work or solar PV systems (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391 Testing and Inspection certification) are advantageous
* Proven ability to perform well in a team and independently, with excellent problem-solving skills
* Previous experience in renewable energy or solar projects is a plus
* Willingness to travel across the UK as required by mobile projects
