Medivet Bamber Bridge is looking for a confident and forward-thinking Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced and friendly four-vet team in a dynamic role that offers real scope to make an impact. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for someone with at least 2 years of UK small animal practice experience who enjoys a true mix of consulting and surgery, and who’s ready to help shape the next chapter of a busy, community-loved clinic. Our Bamber Bridge practice – known locally as Withy Grove Vets – is an award-winning site in a vibrant suburban location, with excellent links to Manchester, Liverpool, the Lake District, and stunning local countryside. It’s a great base for vets looking for variety in both work and life. You’ll be joining a welcoming team that includes a three-times surgery certificate holder to work alongside, supported by a brilliant nursing and client care team We also work closely with the nearby Medivet 24-hour hospital and surrounding branches, offering strong clinical collaboration and internal referrals for more complex cases. The clinic is well-equipped, offering a wide range of surgical and diagnostic services including laparoscopy, endoscopy, TTA kit, patella luxation equipment, quality ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, capnography and ventilators. Our clinic is currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to join us as we embark on the next chapter of our journey. We offer a 4-day week with no OOH, and a fair share of weekend cover (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends).
