We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to support learners who need extra help to reach their potential. This role is ideal for bringing the school experience to pupils so they can achieve their academic goals while attending sessions in various settings across the Southampton area.
Responsibilities
* Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
* Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or a neutral location such as a community library, or, if needed, over Microsoft Teams.
* Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
* Collaborate with safeguarding advisers to ensure learners\' wellbeing and development are fully supported.
About You
* Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
* Brings a compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
* Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
* Holds a full UK driving licence.
