Data Officer
Salary: Grade 7 SCP 24-28
Working hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (would consider part time) term time only plus 5 INSET days and 2 days in summer.
Contract type: Permanent

The Orme Academy invites applications for a Data Officer to join our team. You will lead on data systems, analysis, and reporting to support pupil progress and whole-school improvement. We’re looking for an organized, detail-driven professional who can turn information into insight.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop the Academy's Management Information Software (Arbor).
* Transfer data between software applications, databases and web-based systems as required, maintaining the security and integrity of the data.
* Make recommendations for how the process of data collection and management might be improved and developed to maximise potential for using data to achieve continuous improvement.
* Develop and produce regular reports for staff at all levels by extracting data from the Academy systems and presenting it in a user-friendly format which is fit for purpose.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience with data management and reporting, preferably using Arbor or similar MIS.
* Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
* Attention to detail with ability to turn data into insight for school improvement.
