Company
Are you ready for the next step in your SaaS sales career? Crown SDS is looking for an experienced and talented individual to spearhead its next phase of growth following the recent launch of SDS Plus, a ground-breaking SaaS solution.
With a turnover of c.£40m and a head office in Tamworth, Crown SDS has earned an enviable reputation for customer service excellence and software innovation. Partnering with the UK's best-loved brands in retail, manufacturing and supply chain logistics, the launch of SDS Plus has been a natural combination of our 35 years in logistics and our market-leading approach to software design.
Modular in design, SDS Plus encompasses workflow planning and asset management tools, wrapped up in a range of user-friendly interfaces for desk and field-based applications. Providing unparalleled levels of visibility and control, it enables businesses to connect related workflows so teams can deliver stronger and more consistent levels of service, compliance and productivity. With a successful soft-launch already under our belt, and a bigger market push planned for 2026, this is an amazing time to join the business.
Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for building and delivering the SDS Plus new business pipeline, providing account management support for new and existing customers, and helping to raise the brand's profile in key markets. Bringing strong experience of SaaS sales, you will have what it takes to develop new leads, work closely with them to create detailed user requirements, and ultimately convert them in to new high value accounts.
Able to work efficiently and at pace, you'll have strong experience of collaborating with subject matter experts (internally and client-side) to create value-adding commercial proposals, whether off-the-shelf formulations or requiring a more bespoke approach for unique operational settings.
Drawing on your networking skills and keeping a close track of market opportunities, you'll quickly develop a strong pipeline of leads. Your success will be fuelled by your organised and efficient ways of working. You'll manage all aspects of the new business development process, approaching new prospects and responding to new enquiries, delivering impactful customer presentations, maintaining CRM notes and proactively driving performance improvements.
This is a full time office-based role, requiring the flexibility to attend customer meetings, operational sites visits and industry events. You'll be part of a wider Commercial team of sales, account management, marketing and product specialists, and your work will make a significant contribution to the company's success, so there's plenty of scope for career progression. If you are results driven with a proven track record in SaaS, particularly in logistics, we would love to hear from you.
