Role: Controls Engineer
Salary: GBP 45,000: GBP 55,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you're looking for)

My engineering client are looking to take on an Electrical Controls Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Gloucestershire area.
The Controls Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
: Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
: 3 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls role
: Be confident carrying out the design and programming from scratch of control systems in manufacturing environments
: Good knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC's
: Experience working with industrial networks such as EtherNET or ProfiNET
: Excellent communication skills
: Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:
: Programming PLC's in a manufacturing environment
: Some travel will be required both in and out of the UK
: Working closely with panel builders
: Hands on installation and commissioning
: Carrying out fault finding on equipment
: Being involved in project management
: Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
