Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hospitality establishment
* Supervise staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies
* Engage in food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality and presentation meet standards
* Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service
* Manage inventory levels and assist with food production planning
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills
* Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous
* Experience in hotel settings is a plus but not mandatory
