Overview
Phlebotomist provide high standard of cleanliness which is imperative in our daily routine. Main roles include taking patients bloods and communicating with patients. We are hiring for the following hours: 18.75 hours per week (Weekend working 1:5 sessions).
Responsibilities
* Take patients' blood samples and perform phlebotomy duties as required
* Communicate with patients in a courteous and professional manner
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and infection control in all procedures
Requirements / Qualifications
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring individual
* Able to work in an orderly and systematic manner
* Good literacy, numeracy, communication and organisational skills
* Caring attitude and ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Previous hospital experience is advantageous, but in-house training will be provided
