We are looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Taunton, providing dedicated support to a pupil with Down’s syndrome in KS2. There is potential for a longer-term contract, so we are seeking someone who can offer consistency and commitment. About the Role: You will work closely with one pupil throughout the school day, helping them access learning, develop independence, and build positive relationships. The role will involve a mixture of 1:1 classroom support and assisting with small group activities where appropriate. You will work alongside the class teacher and wider support staff to adapt learning activities, encourage communication, and provide a calm and supportive presence.
