Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a skilled Data Modeller to support a key project on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will focus on logical data modelling and requires strong experience with industry-standard tools and techniques.
1. Design and maintain logical data models to support business and technical requirements.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into structured models.
3. Use UML to document data structures and relationships.
4. Work with Sparx Enterprise Architect (EA), Erwin, or other leading data modelling tools to create and manage models.
5. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
This role is based in London.
This role will be Via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
Key Skills and Experience
6. Proven experience in logical data modelling across complex environments.
7. Strong understanding of UML and data modelling best practices.
8. Hands-on experience with SparxEA, Erwin, or similar tools such as Power Designer, IBM Infosphere Data Architect, or Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
10. Experience in metadata management or data governance frameworks.
11. Familiarity with physical data modelling and database design.
