Job Summary

The company:

Rhodes & Partners is a Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy working on a variety of projects designing residential, commercial and industrial buildings. We pride ourselves on providing first class customer service to our clients in a supportive and friendly working environment.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the MD and Office Manager, the role includes:

· Front of house/reception duties – you will be the first point of contact for commercial and domestic customers (therefore your telephone and email manner is of paramount importance).

· Working on the company database, inputting new project and client details and updating information.

· Filing, scanning and archiving.

· Following the company system workflows and ensuring requirements are met.

· Typing of reports and quotes.

· Taking notes of meetings if required.

· Ordering stationery and ensuring supplies are kept up-to-date.

Hours

There is some flexibility in the required hours, from a minimum of 11 hours per week up to

18 hours maximum, and also the option to cover holidays. The working days would be Wednesday and Thursday, with minimum core hours of 9.30 to 3.30 with half an hour for lunch.

Person specification:

· An excellent telephone and email manner.

· Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel.

· Typing speed of 40-50wpm.

· Diligence to ensure accurate data entry and preparation of reports and quotes.

· Ability to prioritise tasks and operate under pressure.

· Able to use your own initiative when required.

· Accurate, thorough and well-organised, with excellent attention to detail.

· You take pride in your work and approach all tasks with energy and enthusiasm.

· Calm, efficient and helpful – even on the busiest of days.

· A team player, but you are also happy to work on your own.

· Motivated, and eager to learn.

· Experience in a similar or related industry would be an advantage, but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7,346.00-£15,912.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 11 per week
